Thrown Weapons

Thrown weapons, as practiced in these-here-parts, consists of throwing axes (the one-handed variety) and knives at a piece of wood from beyond 10 and 20 feet. Atl-atl and throwing spears are also occasionally included.

2007
	A sling done in natural jute. The pocket is weft-twinned with one increase and one decrease in width. The ends are 8-strand square-braids except the starting point which is a loop of 4-strand plaiting. This one is a little small for golf balls so I plan to make one with 16 strands of slightly finer hemp.
