My first exposure to leatherworking was at Boy Scout camp where I got to tool some leather and lace together one of those pre-made mocassin kits. And then there was Native mocassins and leggings. Now that I know something of the differences between braintain, veg-tan, and chrome-tan I'm starting to buy and plan for bigger and better things.
