Combat Archery

Combat archery in the SCA is the act of wearing armor and shooting padded "arrows" at armored opponents. Hits in the torso, face, neck, and groin are considered kills. Hits to the shouders, arms, hips, and legs are considered limb-disabling. Hits to the head above the brow are considered to have glanced off the helm. Some say that the bow is a less-than-honorable weapon to wield. I say "Try it sometime. You'll have a blast!" or "Hit me with your stick when you break through the line. It'll make you feel better."
